7Circuits I/O Synthesis Tool ("7Circuits") provides the perfect solution for designers of complex PCBs built using high-density FPGAs with thousands of pins for telecom, networking, computing and electronic equipment. 7circuits radically improves design team's productivity and cuts costs by reducing time needed to complete PCB design. Unlike conventional methods of manually generating schematics and selecting and assigning FPGA pins, 7circuits automatically generates PCB schematics and optimizes pin selection and assignments while reducing errors, number of PCB layers, design iterations, and manufacturing costs.
7Circuits uses built-in knowledge of FPGA I/O architecture and pin requirements of all popular memory, networking, computing and telecom system interfaces. It will place the interfaces according to FPGA design rules, allocate pins, create constraints files, top level RTL and, verify pin DRC with no user intervention. Once the pin assignment is complete, 7Circuits will draw schematics to connect all components, mark critical nets for layout, connect power supplies, and debug interfaces & configuration pins. Even if the pin assignments must change due to FPGA logic changes, intelligent routing and placement algorithms within 7Circuits enable it to redraw PCB schematics accommodating such late stage changes.
